Neuropsychology Services

INSneuro provides a range of individual and group therapy programmes including:

• Individual adapted psychotherapy e.g. Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy.

• Adjustment/adaptation to brain injury interventions (individual and group).

• Positive Behaviour Support programmes.

• Parenting after brain injury specialised programme.

 

Note: all neuropsychology interventions can be delivered in person or remotely using digital technology.

TRAINING

INSneuro offers several training courses based on neuropsychology related topics. This training package has been developed over a number of years based on feedback about useful topics in brain injury rehabilitation.

 

Training programmes have been developed with your needs in mind. Topics include:

 

• Neuropsychology and brain injury awareness

• Emotional and psychological wellbeing following brain injury

• Cognitive changes and cognitive rehabilitation

• Supporting people whose behaviours challenge services

• Parenting following brain injury

NEUROPSYCHOLOGY REHABILITATION PLANS

A comprehensive assessment of the person affected by the brain injury is the starting point for developing a neuropsychological rehabilitation programme.  INSneuro works closely with multidisciplinary teams, case managers, solicitors and other professionals to promote a co-ordinated and specialist approach.

Neuropsychological Rehabilitation Plans include:

• Neuropsychological needs assessment and report

• Provision of detailed recommendations for neuropsychological rehabilitation

• Clinical leadership for goal setting and monitoring in complex cases

• A range of programme components to suit the individual needs and strengths of the service user

• Regular liaison and updates with case managers, health and social care professionals and other involved parties

• Evaluation of clinical effectiveness and outcomes

• Staff training and support to ensure agreed outcomes are achieved
